I spend a lot of screen time in my day.  So I'm seeing my desktop wallpaper a lot and need a change now and then.  I've used many of my own photos, some really good shots.  But there is nothing like the pros.  And in my opinion, National Geographic photographers are some of the best.

12/19/2011 Update:  The photo to the right won the 2011 National Geographic Photography Contest.  

Their photo web site has one great photo after another, most have wallpaper download links for your computer, iPad or phone.  Problem is, once I get there, I start browsing and can't stop because there are so many great pictures.

Anyway, have a look and give your computer wallpaper something new.  Maybe nature, foreign cities, seasonal, people.
