I Believe in Apple

Today I had a system experience that would have scared the crap out of most users. System backup, restore, OS not found. Work comes to a halt, I'm sunk. Luckily I have a Mac.

I've owned IBM, Lenovo, Sony, Dell, Acer computers and used almost every other brand there is. Support is horrible. Got a problem with your OS, call Microsoft (good grief, please no). Want some advice at the store? Don't ask the idiots at Best Buy or any other retailer. They don't call the guys at the Apple Store Geniuses for nothing.

So I called Apple with my problem today. I'm past my free phone support period, but they said they'd get me started with some help free. Their advice worked to the letter, they understood the problem (an OS incompatibility with the rebuild and the restore), told me how to fix it and it just worked. I'm now up and running instead of on hold with MS or Dell or Lenovo.

Yes, Macs cost more than the others. But theirs is a false economy. You will pay for it one way or another with a Windows OS and one of the many stooge PC makers. Computers are great fun and valuable tools. Don't waste your time with anything but a Mac.

And the compatibility among their other devices (iPod, iPad, iPhone, iTunes, etc.) is just fantastic as well.

Thank you Apple. It almost makes me forget about the lack of Flash support in iOS and the trouble that causes me. But this is a positive post and your praise is well-deserved.
