One of the more unique business trips for me, someplace new as well, Taipei, Taiwan and Fukuoka, Japan. It's Tuesday night here and I've had one night's sleep since Friday. (OK, Sat night was on the plane and I lost Sunday crossing the Int'l Date Line.) Luckily I can sleep anywhere, and to that point almost missed our train stop last night on the High Speed Train from Taipei to Hsinchu.

Meetings have gone very well, food is great, and our hosts are very gracious.

(Turbo) Tax Time. Deal Time.

I hate doing my taxes. They're simple enough that I can do them but complicated enough that I need some help from Turbo Tax. So of course, I'm shopping for it. I've heard that there is a free version on-line. Yes, the 1040EZ, I don't qualify because I need the Deluxe version for the house, donations, etc. I need Federal, State and would like to eFile and there is a version that has exactly this. So now, where to buy:

• TurboTax.com. $29.95 Fed + $36.95 State = $66.90. I understand, they can't undersell their channel or discount stores. So that's out.
• Staples.com $49.99, better, but we can do better.
• Costco.com $49.99. Grrr.
• BJs.com: $39.99 + $1.96 Shipping. Bazinga! (BTW, it's still $49.99 in the store.)

I love a deal, especially an on-line deal.
